Responsibilities

As TikTok Content Operations Lead for the Middle East and North Africa, you will partner with the General Manager of METAP and other regional heads on ways we can support, innovate and effectively grow our content ecosystem in this market. You will also track, manage and report on our content partnership ecosystem and its impact on the platform.

The successful candidate will have a background in developing creator communities and entrepreneurial experience. You also have the instincts to understand and implement new content formats that drive explosive audience engagement. Having a track record of bringing content ideas to life – preferably through social platforms, the latest apps, and tools is preferable but not mandatory.

Responsibilities:
– Adapt global and regional content strategies by applying insights from local markets
– Develop local content partnership teams to execute against global corporate level, regional level creator strategies, as well as project‑based targets
– Define unique content vertical to suit local content demand
– Execute creator community programs at the local level
– Understand local content ecosystem, identify market trends, brainstorm aspirational ideas and drive local content growth and audience engagement
– Identify areas for improvement and evangelize creator partner management workflow by facilitating alignment and efficiency through data-driven methodologies.
Partner with the sales, product, comms, marketing, user growth, T&S, legal, and policy teams to support, innovate and effectively grow the user base and serve as the local spokesperson.

Qualifications

– 10+ years of relevant industry experience in content operations or development, marketing, content partnerships, and/or multi-channel content programming.
– Preferred language capabilities: English & Arabic.
– Deep understanding of the content and media business landscape in MENA.
– Familiarity with both traditional and advanced digital marketing channels.
– Strong insight into digital content strategies and product operations.
– Experience working with online communities, policymakers, and media outlets.
– 5+ years experience building, managing, leading, and inspiring creative, collaborative, and high performing teams and proven performance indirectly leveraging cross-functional teams to drive strategic growth initiatives
– Strong organizational skills with the ability to be flexible and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced, startup environment.
