Set to open in Q4 2022, InterContinental Residences Abu Dhabi, will consist of total 130 units, most one of them with the breathtakingly views of the beach with spacious balconies, while remaining overlook the marvellous city of Abu Dhabi. InterContinental Residences has a private beach front with more than 30 sun loungers, outdoor Jacuzzi, kids pool and the gym facility with the latest technology. Guests will enjoy an array of food and beverage facilities with an indoor/outdoor all day dining restaurant, lobby lounge, in room dining and pool bar. Likewise, conventional meeting facilities and underground parking.
Your day to day

In a nutshell, as Receiving Clerk you will check and count all goods to be received per approved purchase order or daily market list; ensure that goods are in order, of good quality and according to the established specifications; and to reject all goods which do not meet the specifications. You will move accepted products to storage areas immediately to minimize employee theft and deterioration of product quality. You need to ensure proper documentation on all goods delivered to the hotel as well as those returned to the suppliers; to summarize and record all goods purchased by the hotel on a daily basis; to ensure the cleanliness of the Receiving Bay by liaison with Store helper or Stewarding Staff whenever cleaning is required; and to be well versed in all descriptions and types of operating equipment for the Hotel, including maintaining catalogs, sample pictures of such items for reference.
What we need from you
Ideally, the candidate must have a relevant degree in Finance/Accounting or related business discipline; and a minimum of 1-year experience in a similar role. He/she must have worked in a high business volume hotel and procurement function. Needs to demonstrate the ability to interact with customers, employees, and third parties that reflects highly on the hotel, the brand, and the Company. Should be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office, with good communication skills.
