Main Responsibilities

The role of the Junior Business Development Manager is to manage distributors of the allocated market(s).

He/she is a key contributor to the topline and bottom-line growth of the zone and the CBU

He/she is responsible for building the joint business plan with the Distributor & pilot the excellence in execution. They are also responsible to work hand in hand with the distributor through to the customer level to maximize our business.

This role is for Qatar and Bahrain market (for evian and Alpro)

  • Ensure perfect execution of key projects in strategic sales channels, working with distributor and key accounts category management in retail channels, supermarkets/convenience stores focus, coffee chains push, E commerce perfect execution, etc.
  • Build annual Business plan and Joint-Business-Plan KPIs identify the key levers to grow the Business and share/align with the partners and follow up with action plans in order to bridge gap between target and ambition
  • Monthly reporting on performance internal and with partners. Deep dive analysis on sell-in and sell-out in UAE market (market shares, category trends, key accounts focus). Anticipate Risks & opportunities by channel.
  • Close follow up of UAE performance kpi’s monitoring, supply chain analysis (shipment analysis and stock reconciliation)
  • Distributor management market visit & reports, salesforce training and incentivization programs
  • Implement trade marketing strategy and recommend market needs.
  • Build recommendations for budget planning to secure resources needed to execute the plans from partners’ organization & EVI organization (A&P trade marketing investment, distributor promotion plan…)

About you

Would typically have around 4 to 5 years relevant experience in Sales, Distributor Management, Key account Management, trade marketing ideally within a strong multinational FMCG company (spirits, high-end/premium).

    • Knowledge of the Off premise channels & Customers (Retail, On the go & On premise)
    • Experience in Qatar is a big plus

    • Ability to convince internally, partner, distributor & Customers
    • Understanding of strategic vision and marketing
    • Presentation skills
    • English Business level required, speaking Arabic is a big plus
